Today is work4significance day!

Sport & Spinal Physiotherapy has a long history of being involved with SOS Health Foundation in donating funds as well as donating our time on health missions to improve the health outcomes of the disadvantaged indigenous communities in North East Arnhem land and Palm Island.

Today we are being involved in work4significance day, which is taking place today nationally through participating physiotherapy practices. This is why you will see our hard working team dressed in SOS Health T-shirts and the practice decorated with balloons and banners to support this worthwhile cause. 100% of all treatment fees for today will be donated to the work4significanace fundraising event.

What is work4significance Day?

work4significance® Day is the SOS Health Foundation’s premier annual fundraising event. The funds raised have supported the provision of physiotherapy and related health services for homeless and disadvantaged Australians in urban and remote areas.

Where will the money go?

SOS Health Foundation will use the money raised to fund two probono physiotherapy services to support the homeless, those at risk of homelessness, and individuals and communities disadvantaged by poverty or remoteness:

  • Probono Physiotherapy Clinics in Melbourne and Brisbane – Urban Program
  • Physiotherapy services in remote communities in NE Arnhem Land and Palm Island, Nth Qld – Remote Indigenous Programs

Physios will provide hands-on treatments and services to improve the health of Australians who don’t have access to the same health services and resources that most of us take for granted.

How can you be significant?

On the first Tuesday of September each year, Sport & Spinal Physiotherapy will pursue our vision to be significant by donating on the day for this truly significant cause. You too can ‘be significant’ – book a physio treatment, massage, podiatry session or any other of the many services offered and help raise funds for the work of the SOS Health Foundation.
