CLINICAL PILATES 1:1 SESSIONS
What is Clinical Pilates?
Unlike traditional Pilates classes, Clinical Pilates is designed to address individual needs and goals, considering specific injuries and conditions. Clinical Pilates can only be conducted under the guidance of a qualified physiotherapist who has extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, movement, and rehabilitation.
Clinical Pilates Matwork & Reformer Sessions
Whether you are a beginner or expert, there is something for everyone with our One-on-one Pilates Reformer or Matwork sessions. Our Pilates Matwork sessions will focus on your alignment, flexibility, core strength and overall health. We aim to introduce small equipment, as required, to complement the repertoire of exercises, such as a theraband, chi ball, magic circle and foam roller.
Our Pilates Reformer sessions is a great whole body workout. These sessions build on from your Pilates Matwork principles. The aim of this workout is to increase the tone in your muscles and to lengthen your body. By using spring loaded resistance with our Pilates Reformers, we can specifically target the spine, arms, legs and abdominals. Poses that we focus on include feet in straps, 4 point kneeling, standing on the reformer and in sidelying.
All one-on-one sessions are available to private, DVA, NDIS and Insurance clients.
When you enrol in our Clinical Pilates sessions or other classes, you have free access to our gym and pilates equipment to be used at any time you remain a client with us.

Hydrotherapy Classes
Aquatic Physiotherapy, otherwise known as hydrotherapy, allows our Canberra clients to exercise in warm water under the supervision of a physiotherapist, where the physical properties of water are used to achieve specific therapeutic goals.
The warmth of the hydrotherapy pool and the hydrostatic pressure at various depths can reduce swelling, improve blood circulation, decrease pain, reduce muscle spasm and tightness, and induce muscle relaxation. The buoyancy of water can reduce the effects of gravity and allow clients to exercise with freedom that they would otherwise not enjoy on land. The supportive properties of water can assist with stability and balance. The resistance of water, increased if needed with the use of specific aides such as paddles and floats, can improve muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness. Read more...
